Paneer Makhani



Ingredients -


  • Paneer - 250 gms (cut into cubes)
  • Orange red color - a pinch
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Dhaniya powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Fried onion paste - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 3 tsp
  • Salt - to taste



 Procedure -


  • Fry paneer pieces and keep aside.
  • In a bowl, mix together chilli powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, tomato ketchup, tomato puree,salt, 1 cup milk and color. Keep aside.
  • Heat butter, add ginger garlic paste and fry a little. 
  • Now add the above mixture and fried onion paste. Cook for 10 minutes. 
  • Add the remaining milk, little by little, stirring continuously. 
  • Mix in the paneer pieces and give it a boil.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with parathas.
