Paneer Makhani
Ingredients -
- Paneer - 250 gms (cut into cubes)
- Orange red color - a pinch
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Dhaniya powder - 1/2 tsp
- Fried onion paste - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
- Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp
- Milk - 2 cups
- Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - 3 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Procedure -
- Fry paneer pieces and keep aside.
- In a bowl, mix together chilli powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, tomato ketchup, tomato puree,salt, 1 cup milk and color. Keep aside.
- Heat butter, add ginger garlic paste and fry a little.
- Now add the above mixture and fried onion paste. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the remaining milk, little by little, stirring continuously.
- Mix in the paneer pieces and give it a boil.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with parathas.
