Mutton Resha Kababs


Ingredients -

  • Potatoes = 4 (medium)
  • Mutton - 100 gms (bonelesss)
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Green chillies paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4/ tsp
  • Roasted zeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ajinomoto - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 3 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 3 tsp
  • Mint leaves - 2 tsp 
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Charcoal - 1 piece
  • Oil - to fry


Procedure-

  • Boil potatoes and mash them. Keep aside.
  • Boil mutton along with ginger garlic paste, green chillies paste, water and a little salt until tender. 
  • Then to this add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, zeera powder, garam masala powder, ajinomoto, lemon juice and salt if needed. Cook until dry and cool. 
  • Now shred the boiled mutton into reshas with hands.
  • Take the mashed potatoes and add the mutton reshas, coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix well.
  • Heat a piece of charcoal until red hot and put into the above cutlet mixture, pour a little hot oil over it and cover tightly. Keep for 15 minutes and remove the charcoal. 
  • Now shape into cutlets and keep aside.
  • Heat oil and deep fry each cutlet until done.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
