Ingredients -
For Vadas:
- Urad dal - 1 cup
- Salt - as per taste
- Water - 1 glass
- Sodabicarb - 1 pinch
- Oil - to deep fry
For Dahi:
- Curd - 200 gms
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Chat masala - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
- Tamarind chutney- 2 tsp
Procedure -
For Vadas:
- Soak the dal overnight.
- Then grind it to a thick paste.
- Now add all the ingredients and form into balls.
- Deep fry in oil on a medium-low flame until golden brown.
For Curd:
- Whisk curd and add sugar to it.
- Keep in refrigerator to cool.
For Serving:
- Place vadas in a serving plate and pour curd over it.
- Garnish with sprinkled chilli powder, cumin powder, chat masala, tamarind chutney and coriander leaves.
