Dahi Wada


Ingredients -


For Vadas:
  • Urad dal - 1 cup
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sodabicarb - 1 pinch
  • Oil - to deep fry



For Dahi:
  • Curd - 200 gms
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Chat masala - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  • Tamarind chutney- 2 tsp 



Procedure -


For Vadas:
  • Soak the dal overnight. 
  • Then grind it to a thick paste. 
  • Now add all the ingredients and form into balls.
  • Deep fry in oil on a medium-low flame until golden brown.



For Curd:
  • Whisk curd and add sugar to it.
  • Keep in refrigerator to cool.



For Serving:
  • Place vadas in a serving plate and pour curd over it. 
  • Garnish with sprinkled chilli powder, cumin powder, chat masala, tamarind chutney and coriander leaves.
