Ingredients -
- Chicken - 200 gms (boneless, cut into tikka sized cubes)
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1½ tsp
- Cloves - 2-3
- Cinnamon sticks - 2
- Green chilli paste - 2 tsp
- Coriander paste - 1 cup
- coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Roasted Cumin powder - ½ tsp
- Pepper powder - ½ tsp
- Elaichi powder - 1 tsp
- Curd - ½ cup
- Kaju paste - 2 tbsp
- Cream - 2 tbsp
- Tandoori masala - 1 tsp
- Chat masala - 2 tsp
- Mint leaves - few
- Garam masala powder - ¼ tsp (optional)
- Salt - very little (if required)
- Water - ½ cup
Procedure -
- Heat oil & butter, add cloves, cinnamon sticks, when they splutter add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute until the raw smell goes.
- Then add coriander paste, green chilli paste, curds, kaju paste, cumin powder, pepper powder, elaichi powder, tandoori masala, chat masala and salt (if required). Cook until oil leaves from sides.
- Now add chicken pieces and water and cook till chicken is tender.
- Lastly add butter, garam masala powder, mint leaves and fresh cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with butter parathas or zeera rice.
