Healthy Veg Sandwich

Ingredients -



For Sandwich:
  • Sandwich brown bread - 1 packet
  • Butter - 50 gms
  • Green chutney - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 2 (sliced)
  • Boiled potato - 2 (sliced)
  • Cucumber - 1 (sliced)
  • Cheese - 50 gms (optional)
  • Chat masala - 1 tsp


For Green Chutney:
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilli - 1-2
  • salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup


Procedure -



For Green Chutney:
  • Put all ingredients in a mixer jar and grind it until smooth paste.
  • Add water to adjust consistency. Keep aside.

For Assembling:
  • Cut out the edges of each bread slice. 
  • Apply butter and green chutney on each slice and keep aside.
  • Take a bread slice, place the sliced vegetables (tomato, cucumber, potato) on it.
  • Sprinkle a little chat masala over the veggies and grated cheese. 
  • Place another bread slice on top.
  • Serve along with green chutney and tomato ketchup.

NOTE
  • You can also cut each sandwich into 4 pieces just before serving.
