Healthy Veg Sandwich |
Ingredients -
For Sandwich:
- Sandwich brown bread - 1 packet
- Butter - 50 gms
- Green chutney - 1 cup
- Tomato - 2 (sliced)
- Boiled potato - 2 (sliced)
- Cucumber - 1 (sliced)
- Cheese - 50 gms (optional)
- Chat masala - 1 tsp
For Green Chutney:
- Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
- Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch
- Green chilli - 1-2
- salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Water - 1/2 cup
Procedure -
For Green Chutney:
- Put all ingredients in a mixer jar and grind it until smooth paste.
- Add water to adjust consistency. Keep aside.
For Assembling:
- Cut out the edges of each bread slice.
- Apply butter and green chutney on each slice and keep aside.
- Take a bread slice, place the sliced vegetables (tomato, cucumber, potato) on it.
- Sprinkle a little chat masala over the veggies and grated cheese.
- Place another bread slice on top.
- Serve along with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
NOTE
- You can also cut each sandwich into 4 pieces just before serving.
