Paneer Chilly


Ingredients -

  • Paneer - 200 gms ( 1" cubes)
  • Capsicum - ½ cup (diced)
  • Onion - ½ cup (diced)
  • Cornflour - 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tsp
  • Chilli sauce - 4 tsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2  tsp
  • Ajinomoto - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Green chili - 1 tsp (chopped vertically)
  • Spring Onion greens - 1 cup (chopped)
  • Garlic - 2 tsp (chopped)
  • Salt - as needed
  • Oil - to deep fry
  • Egg - 1

Procedure -

  • Marinate paneer with ginger garlic paste, all sauces, pepper powder, ajinomoto, salt, egg and cornflour.
  • Deep fry and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a wok, add chopped garlic, capsicum, onion, green chilli and saute, then add soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto, pepper powder and cornflour paste (only for gravy). 
  • Cook until thick, add fried paneer. Stir and remove. 
  • Sprinkle spring onions and serve hot.
