Chicken Rosh



Ingredients-


  • Chicken pieces - 6
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Tomatoes - 3 (pureed)
  • Dessicated coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Whole peppers - 5-6
  • Cinnamon sticks - 2
  • Water - 2 glasses
  • Oil - 3 tsp
  • Curds - 1 cup
  • Chicken tikka masala - 2 tsp
  • Fried onion paste - 2 tsp
  • Potatoes - 2 (cut into halves)
  • Salt - as needed


Procedure -


  • Heat oil, add peppers, cinnamon sticks, ginger garlic paste and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add tomato puree, dessicated coconut, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, potatoes, chicken pieces and water and cook until 2-3 boils. 
  • Then add curds and tikka masala and cook until chicken and potaoes tenders.
  • Finally add fried onion paste and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or paratha.
