Cheese Choley



Ingredients -

  • Chickpeas - 2 cups 
  • Onion - 1 (chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1/2 (chopped)
  • Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • Roasted cumin powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Chole Masala - 6 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - as needed
  • Cheese - 1 cube (grated)


Procedure -

  • Soak chickpeas overnight and boil them in the morning. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil, add onion and fry till translucent, then add capsicum and stir for a while
  • Add ginger and chili paste, curds, few coriander leaves, cumin powder, chili powder, chole masala, lemon juice and salt and cook until oil separates. 
  • Now add boiled chickpeas and mix well. 
  • Finally add grated cheese and stir well.
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and cheese.
