Tangy Tomato Masala Curry



Ingredients-

  • Tomatoes (big) - 4 (finely chopped)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Salt - as needed
  • Chili powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chili - 2 (slits)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 3 tsp
  • Water - 1/2 glass


Procedure -

  • Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chili slits, let them splutter 
  • Add ginger garlic paste and stir. 
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are completely mashed. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. 
  • Add salt, chili powder and turmeric powder. 
  • Now add a little water to adjust the consistency. Simmer for about 5 minutes 
  • Serve hot with zeera Rice.
