Tangy Tomato Masala Curry
Ingredients-
- Tomatoes (big) - 4 (finely chopped)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Salt - as needed
- Chili powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Green chili - 2 (slits)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 3 tsp
- Water - 1/2 glass
Procedure -
- Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chili slits, let them splutter
- Add ginger garlic paste and stir.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are completely mashed. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
- Add salt, chili powder and turmeric powder.
- Now add a little water to adjust the consistency. Simmer for about 5 minutes
- Serve hot with zeera Rice.
