Smoky Mince Balls
Ingredients -
- Mutton mince - 200 gms
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli paste - 1 tsp
- Tomatoes - 2 (chopped finely)
- Onion - 1 (chopped finely)
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Coriander seeds - 3 tsp (coarsely ground)
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice - 3 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Egg - 1
- Coriander leaves - 3 tsp
- Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
- Oil - to deep fry
- Coal - 1 piece
Procedure -
- Marinate mince along with ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, tomatoes, coriander seeds, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, lemon juice and coriander leaves for 3-4 hours.
- Now add beaten egg, onion and wheat flour and mix well.
- Heat a piece of charcoal until red hot and put into the above mixture, pour a little hot oil over it and cover tightly. Keep for 15 minutes and remove the charcoal.
- Now shape into balls and deep fry in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
